I grew up poor and one of my life goals was “to not be poor.”  I started a “partnership” as a child (me and a friend just talked about building a fort, running a power cable to it, installing a tv and  video game system – we needed money, so I started delivering papers).  I never built the club house though - I spent it on a new bike and lots of ice cream.  After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad as a college student, I was hooked and have been involved in entrepreneurship ever since.  I’ve helped a friend start a paintball business and a classmate start a laptop cover business. I really did later create a partnership with a friend to run a handyman business (during the 08’ economy crash), and most recently, I built and ran Angel Funding, a regulated regulation crowdfunding platform – as an affiliate to Angel Studios (who went public in 2025).

I don’t mean to brag (okay, we all know that is exactly what I’m doing), but I Kobayashi Maru’d (it’s a verb now) a negotiation scenario during law school – by creating a novel solution when we were supposed to create a vanilla deal.  I know I need help, but I can’t not try to solve a problem.  In the real world, my clients keep coming back for help because I help them find a way to legally complete the deals they want.
